Richmond Tacky Lights Tour - 10101 W Broad St, Richmond, VA 23233
Richmond is known for having the best Christmas lights displays in Virginia, and folks here in the city really get into the spirit of over-the-top holiday decorations. You'll see exactly what we mean when you book a Tacky Lights Tour, which visits some of Richmond's most extravagant light shows. Tours are offered from Thanksgiving to New Year and are fully customizable with a route, stops, and duration of your choosing. Dominion Energy GardenFest of Lights - 1800 Lakeside Ave, Henrico, VA 23228
Every year, the Dominion Energy GardenFest of Lights is one of the most anticipated holiday events in the Richmond area. This spectacular display involves millions of individual holiday lights, which will transform the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden into an after-dark winter wonderland. The GardenFest of Lights runs from November 18 to January 5. Advance tickets are required and available now, and the gardens are just minutes from many Henrico homes for sale.
Light Up the Tracks Celebration - S Railroad Ave, Ashland, VA 23005
Offering small-town charm just a few minutes outside of Richmond, the community of Ashland is known for its charming Trackside Historic District, with shops and eateries lined up along the railroad tracks downtown. The Light Up the Tracks Celebration on November 23 marks the beginning of a full season of special events, including beautiful holiday lights, caroling, and a Christmas market.
Dominion Energy Christmas Parade - 2500 W Broad St, Richmond, VA 23220
Saturday, December 7th, will bring the return of the annual Dominion Energy Christmas Parade, one of the most beloved holiday parades in the Richmond area. Kicking off at 10 am, the parade will begin at the Science Museum of Virginia and follow Broad Street toward the Richmond Coliseum. The Christmas Parade is now in its 41st year, and you can count on some spectacular floats and displays.
Richmond Night Market Holiday Villages - 1500 E Main St, Richmond, VA 23219
Now in its 6th season, the Richmond Night Market is an open-air marketplace that takes over Main Street Station every second Saturday from 5 pm to 9 pm, April through December. From Thanksgiving to Christmas, the market is given a festive makeover, transforming it into the Holiday Villages Market, a holiday shopping experience that brings together 50-plus vendors offering unique and seasonal art, crafts, food, and other locally-made goodies.
